JUNE 9, 2020 -- As Phase 3 of the ReOpen Saskatchewan Plan has begun, SGI has published new guidelines for Class 5 Driver Training. Our driver instructors will be in touch with students who have passed the drivers education class to schedule their in-car training. Our instructors will be abiding by Saskatchewan Health Authority safety guidelines with particular attention to physical distancing and disinfecting vehicles between drives. If some of the drives are not completed by the end of June, our instructors may contact students in the summer to complete them.
JUNE 3, 2020 -- Driver Education summer classes for Regina Public high school students will be held online between July 6-31, 2020. Students must be 15 years of age to register before classes begin. To register, please review and complete the program information and application form, as well as the MySGI account information found below. Students will be notified via their @rbe.sk.ca email account if they have been accepted into the course.
March 18, 2020 -- Message from Director of Education, Greg Enion.
Over the past few days, our everyday routines of school, work and learning have been first disrupted and now cancelled. As many of us are parents, we too have had many of the feelings of uncertainty and concern.
The absence of information often creates anxiety. To keep all our school families informed. I would like to share some information that your school division does have. Please know that we do not yet have any information relating to what's next for students, especially those requiring credits, or who are graduating this year. My promise to you is that we will share this information, the moment we have it.
With respect to our schools:
